"i am a blazing flame in a world of matchstick people"

**********************************************

UPDATE

"This tattoo is actually part one of a trilogy.
The quote "I am a blazing flame in a world of matchstick people" is followed by:
"I can make them shine with the brightest light" and "I can give them a fiery death".
The first quote is wrapped around the picture of the tree of life, which I see as the symbol of the world and its matchstick people.
But that as a standalone tattoo on its own would not actually make any sense.
My role in that tattoo will be represented by the flames accompanying the other 2 quotes, engulfing the world, whcih I've yet to do, and hope to do so sometime soon.
Fire represents courage, drive and passion. Something that I feel strongly towards a life of music and art.
A tree represents independence and stability. Something I've always yearned for throughout my life.
But flames around a tree; a burning tree, represents impermanence, a constant reminder of our mortality and how short this life is, as I had a near death experience of my own too.
As dark as the meaning of this tattoo is, it's also open to interpretation. Because there is no given who, what, when, where and how that I will set ablaze.
All I know is that before I go, I'm gona make everybody shine so bright that when they finally do burn, they'll rise from their ashes as stronger, better beings.

The full quote was originally written as a choice, whether to make the tree burn brightly, or to just scorch it to the ground.
But after a series of unfortunate events in my life and intrspection upon them, it finally dawned upon me its real meaning; it's not a choice, it's all part of the same scheme.
So I will do both at one point or another. Harvey Dent was right: you either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself turn into a villain."
